The little autumn leaves made the most fantastic wedding place card holders for our reception. Our guests also loved their autumn themed bottle stoppers we gave out as thank you gifts. Our ceremony and reception was decorated with all the lovely fall colors. I ordered a gorgeous double heart topper for our cake and a crystal handled knife and server set. Our cake table looked as beautiful as the rest of our reception tables, and I’ve got the pictures to prove it.

Several weeks ago I went to a co-workers wedding event and greeting. It absolutely was an amazing marriage ceremony and the bride was fully stunning. One of my close friends received a pretty wine bottle wedding favor with an enticing red wine label on the front. There were even some very decorative wine glasses distributed for some of the attendees. This wedding reception was certainly tactically out. They did a nice job arranging the whole lot from caterers to pretty stoppers and wine bottle favor.

I’m suppose to be having a wedding of my own in simply 6 months from now. I’m hoping our wedding will be simply as exquisite as theirs was.

I a short time ago visited a marriage and bash for one of the girls I work with. It was fully gorgeous and the bride was as well. Its been many years since my wedding and I can’t believe how much everything has changed for the better, including the decorations. I found so many different decorations and every kind of embellishment you could think of on the internet. There were plenty of suggestions for beach weddings that I thought were very nice with little seashells, starfish and other oceanside designs. There were also some pretty clever ideas for garden and other summer and spring weddings and receptions. I found very exceptional new wedding selections for seasonal ceremonies. I know the winter wonderland wedding supplies were absolutely exquisite with that gorgeous sparkle of the winter season. You would be surprised how many people have weddings in the winter and have it outside. To me having a wedding in the winter outside would be a beautiful site to see and yet a little way out of the norm. If I were planning a wedding it would have to be indoors and not outside in the cold. To me you should plan a wedding in the winter at a resort that has all the amenities to help everybody stay warm.

There were also quite a bit to choose from for autumn weddings too, which is really my favorite time of the year. With all the gorgeous colors and the pumpkins, gourds and just the fresh clean smell in the air, the fall season seems to me to be the best season for a wedding. When I got married, a long, long time ago, about the only options we had, was the traditional wedding, a justice of the peace or elopement. Times have changed so much that you can plan your wedding day to be what you want it to be. I’ve heard of weddings where the location is out of state or even the country and all the friends and famliy fly to that location to have the wedding ceremony. Everybody probably feels like they’re eploping too. You can choose from a terrific new wedding favor selection – they have everything from old style weddings to long distance weddings.

In a few months my daughter will be married and I offered to help her plan her wedding and she decided to have a country western wedding. I would of never guessed that a country western wedding would be so great until I helped my daughter plan hers. She ordered all the decorations in a western style decor. They even planned to have some country western line dancing in the barn. After hearing all this I knew I had to go to the store and get blue jeans, cowboy boots and a cowboy hat so that I could join in the fun and excitement. Everybody will always remember this wedding. With our anniversary coming up soon, I may take my daughters idea and have a country western renewal ceremony and reception.

Choosing a summer wedding favor!

Planning an outside wedding wasn’t as difficult as I thought it would be. In fact, it didn’t cost as much as an indoor wedding would have cost us. Since we had the flowers and mother nature everywhere, I didn’t have to spend a lot of money on decorations. The first thing on my agenda was to find that perfect place to hold our summer wedding and reception party. I thought about a super beach wedding and reception, or maybe have it in a gorgeous garden, but I decided to have our ceremony and reception in the park. I was surprised at all the parks available for weddings.

I wasn’t really sure where to start, so I shopped around for some much needed suggestions. I found out you need to have a plan B, in case inclement weather unexpectly arises. It’s a good idea to have a tent ready to continue your ceremony if it becomes necessary.

We had canopies arranged for our reception and barring bad weather, planned to be wed under a lovely trellis. I mainly concentrated on the decorations for our wedding table and the reception tables. With the beautiful background of the park as our main décor, all I really needed besides table settings were a few extra flowers here and there. I thought artificial flowers would be best, since we didn’t want a bee invasion ruining our ceremony. You couldn’t tell they were artificial they were so beautiful,they looked like the real deal. Planning this wedding wasn’t all that hard, but there was a little more than I expected. You have to make sure your cake is safe from the summer sun, make sure you have citronella candles at your reception and that your tent has nearby rest room areas. [There was a variety of accessories available for the outdoor reception. Each of our guest had a park bench place card holder and the centerpieces were flowers arranged around a glass globe with citronella votive candles inside. I found very decorative favor boxes and used them to package the chrome bottle openers we bought for our friends and family as a summer wedding theme. One of the most decorative things on our wedding table was our gorgeous wedding cake with the beautiful cake topper I ordered.

I found it while browsing online for my other wedding accessories, and fell in love with it. They were customized toppers for the wedding couple. All I had to do was send in a head shot picture of me and my fiance and they custom made a bride and groom cake topper with our faces. What a wonderful momento of our wedding day. Our friends and family were really loved the cake topper and gave us a lot of compliments on it. Our crystal champagne flutes and silver cake serving set was just a few of the fantastic accessories I ordered for our ceremony and reception. It’s unbelievable all the lovely accessories you can purchase from you computer.

It was the perfect wedding and reception, just like I had hoped for. Thank goodness the weather stayed perfect throughout the entire ceremony and reception and we never had to put plan B into action. We had a wonderful DJ that I’m sure, kept the music going long after we left for our honeymoon. There were many good comments about our beautiful wedding ceremony and fun filled reception party we had. The park turned out to be the perfect place to have our wedding and reception. If we should decide somewhere down the line to have a renewal wedding ceremony, I think I’d like to have it in the park again.

Making the right choice when it comes to wedding party favors

I debated a long time before deciding on what type of wedding ceremony and reception I wanted to have. I wasn’t sure if I wanted a beach wedding, a garden wedding or a country western wedding. Then I thought maybe I should just stick with the traditional type of ceremony and reception. Destination weddings also sounds like a great idea. I thought about the tropical shores of Hawaii or the excitement of Vegas might be a great idea. I would probably go for the Hawaii destination. But then I thought about all the people that would be disappointed that they couldn’t be there, and I had to toss that idea in the dumpster.
But there were a lot of other ideas to work with, including a winter wonderland wedding. But since we were getting married in the summer months, I didn’t think I should go with a snow scene. I wanted a wedding fit for a king and queen, and what better way to do that then with a storybook wedding. There were so many accessories and reception supplies to help with my fantasty wedding. There were even special wedding cakes you could buy that fit in perfectly with the theme. So this was final. We can declare a royal wedding.
I went online and found fairy tale invitations that I could send out. Then I started choosing my wedding and reception accessories and supplies. I bought the most beautiful wedding gown I could find at the bridal shop and had my bridesmaids and little flower girl in exquisite floor length dresses, all with tiaras. The groom (my prince) and all of the groomsmen and ring boy wore tuxes that made them all look so elegant and sophisticated. When I walked down the aisle towards my husband to be I really felt like I was royalty. Our wedding ceremony was more beautiful than I could have hoped for. The accessories I bought added so much glamour and style to our storybook wedding. As we were leaving the church, everyone tossed rose petals and cheered us on. Instead of a limo, we had a horse drawn carriage waiting outside.
Our reception was a total success, with all the storybook accessories, it looked like the inside of a castle. I found everything to fit the ocassion from decorations to wedding favors. I even found the perfect favor boxes to put each themed unique wedding favor in for our guests. I was amazed at all of the themed accessories there were for our fairy tale reception. They had storybook champagne flutes and little coaches for place card holders. They had everything imaginable for a storybook wedding and reception.
Everyone had a fabulous time and I received a lot of compliments on the décor. A friend of ours told us it was the most fantastic dream wedding she’s ever seen. I know I was impressed and it was my wedding. I’m so glad that I chose this theme and found so many accessories to help me make it happen. Since this was a special day in my life, I wanted everything to be special. Everything from our wedding cake topper to the wedding party favors for our friends and family went with our storybook theme. I wanted our guests to leave with something that would remind them of this special day. I wanted to give them something they would look back on with fond memories.
As soon as we returned from our honeymoon, I got started on all the thank you notes I needed to mail out. There was even thank you notes available in storybook theme. Maybe on our 20th anniversary we can do this again.

If I do say so myself, it was quite spectacular. I think I made the right choice when I chose this theme, and I’m glad I could find so many great accessories to help. I wanted to give our guests more than just favors, that’s why I chose gifts that could also be used as souvenirs. A special something to remind them of sharing this very special ceremony with us.

The flowers, the candles, and the gorgeous satin bows on the end of the pews really set the whole thing off. Rose petals were falling all around us as we were leaving the church. We were driven to the reception in a horse drawn carriage, just like royalty.
Our reception was a total success, with all the storybook accessories, it looked like the inside of a castle. I was able to find all the accessories I needed for this special themed wedding and some very lovely wedding favors for our friends and family.
