Nice Mikasa Crystals

The wedding I went to last week was all set up with gorgeous mikasa crystal accessories for all the reception tables. On every table were lovely mikasa crystals and mikasa crystal glasses. The bride really has excellent taste in wedding décor and knows how to set an exquisite table. With all the mikasa accessories she had on the tables, it was a picture of elegance.
They had little silver doves as the place card holders, and on the end of their tails were little place cards with a bride and groom printed on them. Her centerpieces were quite lovely too and really helped to bring out the ambience of all the accessories she had decorated the tables with. The exquisite pillar candles she had for her centerpieces were so lovely with the floral ring around them. They also chose very impressive thank you gifts for all of the guests. Each one of us received beautiful mikasa crystal wedding favors. The favors boxes with the little thank you hang tags was almost as gorgeous as the mikasa crystal favors that were inside.
Five layers of chocolate heaven with chocolate flavored cream cheese on each and every layer was the choice of wedding cakes they had. She topped the wedding cake with a very exceptional wedding cake topper. She found a place online where she got most of her accessories and supplies that make customized cake toppers. They make figurines that look just like the bride and groom for the topper and all it takes is sending them a couple head shots of the happy couple. They did a fantastic job capturing the faces of the bride and groom. I was determined to find out what the name of her online wedding store was so I could have them make up a cake topper like that for my mom and dads’ anniversary wedding.
The garter toss was really a riot, I laughed so hard. All those single men gathered together with a growing excitement while they watched the groom remove the leg garter from his bride. As the garter flew through the air, they were all falling into each other as they tried desperately to grab it up. The funniest part though, is that the winner of the garter toss was a widower in his 70’s that didn’t even want to participate in the toss. The old guy walked away with a big smile on his face.
For the bridal toast we all had crystal champagne flutes, that we were also given to take home, with the names of the bride and groom, and date of the wedding printed on them. As soon as the toast was finished, the happy couple took to the dance floor for the traditional bride and grooms first dance. They made such an elegant couple as they danced across the dance floor. When the bride and grooms dance was finished, everyone joined them for the next song. My poor feet suffered the consequences of my all night dancing.
Then it was time for the happy couple to leave the reception and begin their honeymoon, so everyone was yelling good bye and good luck. One of the other guests told me they were honeymooning in Hawaii. I’m sure their honeymoon will be just as wonderful as their wedding day was. The remaining guests stayed behind for hours and continued to party.
A couple of weeks later, I received a thank you note from the bride and groom for the wedding gift and for attending. I was surprised to receive a thank you so soon. She did let me in on her secret online wedding shopping site, where she supplied the mikasa favor and ordered that customized cake topper from. I’m ordering what I need for my parents anniversary wedding party today.
