What could be more romantic than a ceremony held in the month of Februrary? That’s what I decided to do, have a ceremony and reception filled with one of the most adorned symbols of love throughout our ceremony and reception party. My initial purchase was a stunning tiara that I discovered while browsing on the web. There were many wonderful decorations and supplies to choose from, such as the invitations I bought. I mailed out small cards that had two silver-colored hearts on the front of them for our invitations. It was really elegant looking and the inside was preprinted, so all I had to do was fill in the blanks with all the necessary information of who, when and where.
After I had that all taken care of and the guest count, it was time to consider what I needed for our hearts wedding in the way of accessories and decorations. That meant finding the perfect romantic décor for the ceremony and everything from decorations to heart favors for our friends and family as thank you gifts. There was quite a bit to choose from with the hearts wedding favor selection they had. I also found a lot of bargains on discount accessories and decorations for both the ceremony and reception party.
Everyone had their wedding attire taken care of, including our little flower girl and ring boy. As a flower girl basket, I decided to go with a gorgeous white satin with lovely lace and satin bows on each side. There was a white double hearts wedding themed pillow with a pair of gold hearts on it that we got for our ring boy to use, along with a white ribbon made of satin for the rings. My flower girl was going to wear a small tiara, and it was very similar in appearance to the one I had picked out for myself. With her lovely pink flower girl skirt and her crown, I felt that she could have passed for a princess, especially when she did such a graceful job in the wedding. With his tiny tuxedo and red boutonniere, the ring bearer boy did as good of a job and he looked just as adorable. When he walked, he didn’t get out of sync with everyone else, and he bore the rings in distinguished fashion. They both made me very proud.
For our wedding reception I had centerpieces made up of red, white and pink roses with little valentine hearts arranged in with the flowers. We placed two hearts wedding candles on each table in order to create the ambiance of romance that I wanted to achieve, and they were accompanied by the what I considered to be the best place card holders available. I ordered beautiful little silver bells with a heart shaped handle that make a very lovely keepsake from our wedding day for each of our guests. There were frosting hearts all around the bottom layer of our wedding cake, and each layer was decked out in pink and red roses all around. On top sat our very special keepsake hearts wedding cake topper made of white porcelain, which looked so elegant with all the other cake decorations.
Our entire wedding day called to mind love and Valentine’s Day, filled with flowers and hearts galore. I feel fortunate that I was able to use the Internet to the extent that I did because it made everything much more efficient.
