Our wedding was a very large affair, we had well over 250 people at our wedding ceremony and reception. So, as you can guess our overall cost was quite huge. But it was well worth it. It was a beautiful ceremony and the reception was a fantastic event in itself. I had 6 bridesmaids, my maid of honor, an adorable little flower girl and a very handsome little ring boy. My fiance had a best man and six groomsmen, and we both have very large families that, of course, all had to share this day with us. Thank goodness we had a lot of help with accessories and supplies for our wedding day. Both of our parents pitched in and helped with the finances, otherwise we never could have pulled off a wedding like this one. We also received a lot of checks from friends and family as wedding gifts, so that was a big help in paying off all the bills. The important thing is I got the wedding of my dreams and I have all the photos to prove just how wonderful it was.
It was definitely a wedding like every young girl dreams of. I had the most beautiful bridal gown and veil with a gorgeous diamond tiara, and my bridesmaids and maid of honor were absolutely beautiful. My little flower girl, in her ankle length dress looked like a little princess. She asked me if she could wear a veil too, like me, and of course I told her she could. I even got her a little tiara for her hair. She felt so important that day, walking down the aisle carrying her basket of rose petals. I made sure I got lots of pictures of her and our handsome ring boy to put in our wedding album.
Speaking of albums, I knew I would have more than plenty of photos of this wedding and reception, so I made sure I had enough albums to store them in. In fact I bought three. I got them at the same place I bought most of my wedding accessories and reception supplies. They had such a nice selection, and there were plenty of choices for almost any theme wedding you want. Our theme was a winter wonderland theme, with a beautiful wintry décor. There was even fake snow that can be arranged around the altar, and I found these gorgeous decorative snowflakes, online, to hang from the ceiling of the reception hall to add to the winter scenario. In the reception hall we had a huge Christmas tree in the corner with all the wedding gifts piled under it. The tree was lit up in white lights and the entire reception hall gave the appearance of a beautiful Christmas Eve. The pictures of the reception décor alone was enough to fill one of my winter themed wedding albums.
My reception tables had beautiful crystal glassware and gorgeous china, with centerpieces of poinsettas and red berries and of course we had mistletoe hanging everywhere. I was also able to find adorable little winter wedding favors while shopping online and the most decorative winter favor boxes to package them in, which really added to the beauty of our tables. I found every thing for a perfect winter wonderland wedding and reception. There was even a selection of winter cake toppers, serving sets, and very lovely candles to choose from, too. But the most precious wedding item I bought was my beautiful winter wedding album, all three of them. They hold so many of my memories of the most perfect day in my life.
