There is so much to plan when putting together a wedding ceremony and reception. After setting the date you want to get your invitations out as soon as possible, giving your guests time to respond so you will know exactly how many people to plan for. Then you have all the preparations for your wedding ceremony to take care of. Fittings at the bridal shop for that lovely gown, the bridesmaid gowns and don’t forget about the lovely little flower girl. Then there are the flowers, bouquets for all of the bridesmaids and a beautiful bouquet for the bride, along with veils and hair accessories and even jewelry. But let’s not forget the men. The groom and groomsmen also have to have fittings for their tuxedo’s, a boutonniere for their lapel and this is just the beginning.

A lot of young brides today prefer to have some type of theme for their reception. There is such a great selection of themes to use today. There are winter wonderland receptions, filled with snowflakes and snowmen or a super beach party reception perfect for an ocean side theme. There are so many different types of receptions to choose from and once you’ve decided on which you prefer, it’s time to start planning for everything you’ll need. The caterers, the music, table settings for the wedding table and the tables of your guests.
